BTLIA Educational Programmes

Picture of irrigation in actionThe BTLIA educational programme is designed to provide technical training for members and end-users, to the further benefit of your business and your customers. (Employment of a minimum number of Certificate and Diploma holders is also a requirement of Association membership.)

Training consists of a four-week block course covering:

  • turf culture
  • basic and advanced irrigation design
  • contracting

Certificates and Diplomas are awarded to successful candidates and, by the end of 2000, 201 Certificates and 63 Diplomas had been presented. A further 56 people were part way through courses.

Courses for Colleges and Organisations

Courses on all aspects of amenity irrigation, developed for colleges and other industry-related organisations, are available upon request. Please use our Enquiry Form to request further information.
